The Ring Consoles in Apex Legends are a new addition that came with the release of season 16. They are a useful item that is scattered across the map, but if you find one it can change your fate in the game. They help you to predict the future.

In Apex Legends, the Ring Consoles can let you see exactly where the next Ring will be. Therefore, you will be able to see slightly into the future to plan your next attack or to simply run before you get caught in the closing Ring.

How to use Ring Consoles in Apex Legends

Ring Consoles in Apex Legends work in a similar way to the Survey Beacons. Specific Legends can use them to find out the location of the next Ring, and this knowledge can be used to get your team to safety ahead of time. However, they are popular spots and often very exposed, so make sure your team is watching your back if you decide to use one.

To use the Ring Console you must be one of the Controller Class Legends:

• Caustic
• Wattson
• Rampart
• Catalyst

Then, simply walk up to the Ring Console and use the prompted control to activate it.

You’ll then be prompted to press and hold a specific control/command, and you need to hold this control down until the animated sequence of the Ring Console is complete. You will know it’s finished because your Legend will tell the others that the location has been marked on the map.

You must complete the sequence. If you stop halfway, you will not be able to see the next Ring.

Once you have completed the sequence, check your map and the next Ring location will be highlighted within the existing one:

You can only use the Ring Console once per Ring. If you already know the location of the next Ring, then you need to wait until the existing one has closed before using the Console again.

How to find Ring Consoles in Apex Legends

The locations of the Ring Consoles are different on each map.

Also, they can change location each match. This means that it can be tricky to track them down, but Respawn have been nice enough to mark the locations on the maps for you.

However, you need to be a Controller Class Legend to see these icons. On a map, they look like small metal Mushrooms. If you have a this class of Legend on your team, you should be able to see these icons too.

Remember, the Ring Consoles change each match so the image above is an example of which icons to look for.

Once you are in the area marked on the map, look around until you see something that looks like this:

This is the Ring Console and they are usually in the exact spot the icon marks on the map, so they’re pretty simple to find.

Now you have even more of a reason to be a Controller or to at least have one on your side!

The Anniversary Collection Event in Apex Legends has arrived to celebrate the fourth birthday of Apex. First launched in 2019, the brutal but always entertaining Apex Games have graced our consoles with free-to-play Battle Royale combat alongside various other modes.

The Anniversary Collection Event is truly a celebratory event in Apex Legends as there are a lot of goodies for you to get your hands on, including 12 Skins made by the Apex community.

You can either be rewarded these items from an Anniversary Collection pack, or you can choose to purchase them by using Apex Coins and Crafting Metals.

The two reward tiers across the 24 different items are Legendary and Epic, we’ve noted down the costs for each tier below:

• Epic – Any Epic rewards will cost 1,000 Apex Coins or 800 Crafting Metals.

Throughout the Apex Legends Anniversary Collection event, you can collect points for completing event-specific challenges each day. You can earn up to 1,600 points every day, so it’s not impossible to get all of the rewards on the points tracker.

How to find the Anniversary Collection Event reward tracker

To find the points tracker for this event, you need to be on the main screen of Apex Legends. Then, head over to the right side of your screen where your daily and weekly challenge tracker is.

During the event, you will see an extra page here that contains all Anniversary challenges for that day. You can see how many points you can earn from completing the challenges and how close you are to completing them.

Then, click on the ‘View Prize Tracker’ banner at the bottom of this section.

This will bring up your points and progress tracker for this event. On here, you’ll be able to see how many points you have, how close you are to your next reward, and what your next reward will be.

How to get Krait in Destiny 2

Krait is part of the World Loot pool. That means it’s not tied to a specific activity, and instead can fall randomly from just about any source that can reward legendary loot. There is no pattern for it either, so you can not craft Krait.

The best thing to do is farm activities that offer legendary rewards. This means the Vanguard Playlist can be a good choice, and potentially reward Krait after successful completion. You can also decode unfocused Umbral Engrams for a shot at his weapon.

Make sure to equip the Ghost mod Prosperity (Vanguard). This gives playlist strikes and Nightfalls a chance to drop an additional piece of legendary gear upon completion, which includes weapons like Krait.

Otherwise just keep playing whatever you like in Destiny 2 and keep an eye on your inventory and/or postmaster. Krait can drop at almost any time, and when it does you want to make sure you don’t accidentally delete it.

Krait god roll recommendation in Destiny 2

Krait is great at unloading sustained damage from short to medium-long range. It’s a stasis kinetic, and has the origin trait Veist Stinger, which has a chance to refill the magazine anytime you damage an enemy.

A perfect, or ‘god roll’, Krait is built for unrelenting damage, with extended sustained fire that eliminates groups of enemies in PVE, and puts pressure on opposing Guardians in PVP.

Here is our recommended Krait god roll in Destiny 2:

• Arrowhead Break
• Ricochet Rounds
• Subsistence
• Headstone

Arrowhead Brake is an easy choice for Krait. Controlling recoil is the key to hitting your target while firing continuously, and the boost from Arrowhead Brake to that and handling are significant.

Ricochet Rounds further increase the stability of Krait, while also boosting range. Clever Guardians will also realize you can use this to reflect bullets off of hard surfaces, enabling you to spray shots at walls or the floor to keep pressure on Guardians hiding behind cover, or indiscriminately do damage to groups of weak enemies.

Subsistence is a perfect fit for Krait. With this perk, 14% of the weapon’s magazine is refilled after a kill. That means a group of adds can keep Krait filled and firing indefinitely.

Headstone is a powerful perk, if you know how to use it. Any enemy that is killed leaves a stasis crystal behind, the so-called Headstone of this perk. This crystal does several good things. Some enemies will target it, drawing fire way from you. It can freeze enemies that touch it. You can also shoot it with a stasis weapon (like Krait) to shatter it, doing a burst of damage all around. It’s a swiss-army knife of stasis energy, and extremely helpful.

As per usual, once you have your preferred roll, be sure to upgrade it to a Masterwork to give it a stat boost, ability to generate Orbs on multi-kills, and add the option of a kill tracker!

How to get Riptide in Destiny 2

Riptide is a Crucible Weapon, dropping strictly from Destiny 2’s core PVP mode. It’s rewarded randomly at the end of matches, so you’ll need to play some Crucible and have a bit of luck if you want a Riptide.

There are a few things you can do to tip the odds in your favor. First, you can equip the crucible version of the Prosperity Ghost Mod on your Ghost. With this enabled, Crucible wins have a chance to drop an additional piece of legendary gear. This applies to both armour, and weapons like Riptide.

Rewards drop at the end of matches, so focusing on the faster match types can give you more chances at Riptide for your time invested. Mayhem and Scorch, in particular, tend to finish quickly.

Riptide god roll recommendation in Destiny 2

Riptide is most effective when it quickly unloads its full burst of fusion shots into an enemy, whether that be PVP or PVE.

The best Riptide, or ‘god roll’, is a secondary weapon that can quickly and accurately release its full burst of damage before returning to other weapons.

The best combination of perks, or ‘god roll’ will be different for different situations and players. However, there are certain combinations that should produce consistently excellent results.

Here is our recommended best Riptide god roll in Destiny 2:

• Corkscrew Rifling
• Accelerated Coils
• Auto-Loading Holster
• Chill Clip

Adding range and handling are helpful, but what makes Corkscrew Rifling a success for Riptide is the enhanced stability. This will help ensure all of the shots in a burst hit their target accurately, a must for effective use.

The role of Accelerated Coils is simple: make this weapon fire faster. There’s a small damage drop off, but the utility of that pales in comparison to getting your shot off quickly, and Riptide still hits plenty of hard even with the damage loss.

A fusion rifle should be used situationally, with your other gun handling most of the action. Auto-Loading Holster is perfect for this, as you can fire your main weapon, switch to Riptide for a big burst of damage, and switch back to find your other gun fully refilled, and ready for action.

Chill Clip is only active for the first half of Riptide’s magazine, but that’s more than enough to have a large impact. With it, the first shots slow down whoever is struck. This is a powerful tool for crowd control in PVE, and a significant help for keeping a guardian in place while you finish them off in PVP.

As per usual, once you have your preferred roll, be sure to upgrade it to a Masterwork to give it a stat boost, ability to generate Orbs on multi-kills, and add the option of a kill tracker!
